Went to Rock'N River for the first time on Labor Day. I would assume this would be one of the busiest days of the season. Prices were very reasonable. Staff was very nice and the lifeguards were very attentive to their surroundings. Although there was barely any parking, the park did not feel that crowded. Arrived at 2:30pm and the kids were beat and ready to go by 5:00pm.
My kids especially enjoyed the tipping bucket which sends a huge splash of water over the play area. I enjoyed the water slides and lazy river.
Great New additions to the water park. We have a 12 year old and an 18 month old and both were able to enjoy themselves. Was crazy busy but that is probably just because it's a very nice facility for only 10 each or half price after 5pm. Would have given 5 stars but they have a very strange policy about no life jackets on the slides which makes it very difficult to keep and 18 month baby from going under the water ever time he gets run into by another child.
My opinion of this water park has completely changed now. We’ve been their many times before and had a pleasant time, however I’ve never seen how they handle customer service needs in the past until now and the best way I could describe it was greedy and disgusting. It is one thing not to give out refunds so you can keep the revenue but to not give out simple rain passes so that people can bring their families back and actually enjoy the money they just spent is absolutely absurd.
My family and I had a horrible experience. We paid around $50 and barely got to swim for an hour before they pulled everyone out due to thunder. After three hours my three little ones were done as the temperature outside was over 100 degrees and the weather conditions didn’t look like they were getting any better. I went to the management office to request a rainy day pass just to be declined as the supervisor that was not on site had put in strict orders not to give out any rain passes or refunds. I requested the number that she may be reached which was also declined as the only number that she may be reached is her cell phone and they can’t give that out. They just stated that the storm is set to pass and that they were strictly ordered to not give any rain passes or refunds. After an hour the whole park was lined up at the management office and they were still declining rain passes and refunds. My daughters were getting heat exhaustion so we had to eventually leave without any reimbursement or passes.
To keep people out of the pools for one to three hours is one thing but when you see it is going over four hours and weather conditions are just getting worse it just becomes immoral to decline paying customers recourse especially if all they are asking for is to just come back on another day.
Great value! Not too big that you lose your kids. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the park. Staff was kind and vigilant. My kids happily spent hours here without being bored, getting lost, or getting hurt. When you don't want to spend the time or take the risks for a bigger waterpark, this is an awesome option. All of the fun and color and excitement on a smaller scale.
Our two girls love this place! (Age 7 and 1) We have been there a couple of times, and each time we end up staying from open to close! My only complaint is DONT spend money on the bungalows. They are just huge shipping containers painted red
Other then that. It's a great place for the entire family on a hot day
