Great oysters! Huge and fresh! Might have been the biggest oysters ive ever had. Restaurant was clean. Service was good.

The rest of the food was ok. We had the oysters Diablo, they didnt taste very fresh, wouldnt recommend. Poboy sandwhiches were just ok. Not bad but not great. We will definetly be back but only for the oysters because they were amazing!
The food was okay but the service was very lacking. They weren't really very busy when we first walked in, and we were ignored, and so I asked the person behind the counter if we need to wait to be seated and they said they something unintelligible. The gumbo was pretty good after adding hot sauce , and the etouffee was decent. When my friend ask for a knife the waiter said okay, and walked off and didn't get him one. My friend had to get up and get it himself. It just seems like they were very disorganized. We usually go to the Deckhand but wanted a change of pace, guess that was a mistake. It also seemed a little expensive for what you got.
Second time here. First time food was OK. Hope I didn't get food poisoning with the tarter sauce. It just didn't taste right, waiter took it back and the replacement looked better, but tasted no better. Worst tasting tarter sauce I've ever had. Should have gone to the LJS next door and saved some money. Fries were barely warm, too. Just an overall bad experience.
