The best, all the way around. Great food, wait staff, service and atmosphere.
We went there for happy hour today- the drinks were awful, but the food was quite good. Service was decent, but not good. I started with their swamp drink and sent it back because it was way too sweet and obviously cheap mixers and cheap alcohol. I got a gin and tonic instead--it tasted like they used carbonated dish water to make it. We got a few apps and they were all fresh and quite delicious- it was a mixed experience. Just don't go if you are expecting a decent drink.
Have not been to Razzools in at at least five years but I don't remember the food being so good. We ordered threw meals from catfish, etoufee and the other dish I'm not sure. But we all were very content with the food. Everything was delicious. Definitely going back.
Wings were pretty good, if you like breaded wings, ( breaded wings are not my favorite) but I plowed through them with the expertise of a professional competitive eater, leaving a destructive wake of naked wing bones as evidence that they were ever there to begin with. I also ordered a full rack of ribs. The ribs were very tender, smoky, and tasty. I found the wait staff very friendly and attentive.
We are from Louisiana and we thought the the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly. I got the Cajun chicken fried steak and he got the Boudin stuffed chicken.
