I have always had a wonderful experience at Enterprise, especially at this location in Round Rock. Everyone is kind, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. The managers are amazingly warm and welcoming, especially DJ, who helped me out whenever my insurance company, State Farm, would not. I would definitely recommend this branch to everyone I know!
So, I began renting cars from Enterprise at this location in 2015, but yesterday that all changed. I've strictly only used my debit card to rent cars as an Enterprise Member, from Enterprise locations in Austin, Boston, and Seattle. Never had a problem. In the past, I used my cell phone provider as a utility to prove my residency--never a problem before. I don't know if Enterprise changed the policy or the clerks were just being extra strict yesterday, but they just said sorry there's nothing we can do. But you can tell when someone actually gives a damn, and these guys didn't. Combined with all of the really bad, unprofessional jokes they were dropping when I first walked up to the counter, to the poor "it's not my problem" apology, I'll never step foot in there again. In fact, with more and more services like ZipCar and Car2Go, who needs Enterprise? I have a feeling Enterprise is going to go the way Blockbuster and become irrelevant, because of their inability to adapt to technology.Good luck Enterprise with your old outdated business model. I'm renting cars without you now.
We rented a car for a day to go to a wedding, as we didn't trust our car to make the trip at the moment... The price was reasonable. The car was better than expected. They picked us up and dropped us off when we got back. Everyone was very friendly and they got us into and out of the car quick. No unexpected fee's as this wasn't my first rodeo... I would definitely use their service again if needed.
I usually try to avoid this location. I prefer going to the one in Cedar Park. For some reason, they only staff one person at the counter and the rest of the staff is outside doing God knows what else. I mean, I see plenty of employees, but they don't seem to be at the counter. It's one of the most inefficient Enterprise locations that I've ever been to. Also, whenever I get a rental car from this location, it never has more than 1/3 a tank of gas in it. So, I'm usually wasting at least 45 min trying to get the car and then I need to waste even more time to get gas for the car. Doesn't Enterprise "charge" people if they don't come back with a full tank (assuming the customer left with a full tank)? You'd think that they would actually go out and gas up the car, if they're charging you for it...???
I love coming here to rent cars! I have already rented three cars here this year. Each time was a great experience! Everyone is so nice and prompt. One time I had to wait for a bit, but they kept me up to date while I was waiting so I did not have to keep getting up and asking. I would definitely recommend renting a car at this location.
