Came here to grab a feeder because Zookeeper is a bit far from me. I know pet stores are going to have some kind of odor, but this place really smells. Puppies are sitting in their own poop and pee, some were eating their own poop. Wasn't aware this place sold puppy mill dogs but that was enough for me to turn around and leave--these people are only in it for the money and don't care about the well-being of the animals they are selling to the community. Reptiles looked unhealthy as well and the store owner was a bit arrogant. You can tell these people are just trying to make a buck. I'll be driving the extra 15 minutes to Zookeeper from now on.
Gives awful, awful advice about fish under the guise of good advice. Will sell you an extremely small tank and highly aggressive fish that get large for said small tank. Puppies are in tiny, dirty cages with no food and are from puppy mills, reptiles are in terrible conditions and never look healthy, rodent cages stink horribly, roaches everywhere. Do not give this place your money.
I've been coming here to get feeder rats since I got a snake a year ago. Didn't get the snake from there, but they always have a great selection in size of rats. I always like going and holding all the different animals before I get my feeder rat. Adam, the owner, is super chill and will talk about his own snakes. Its a small store but has a great selection.
Went in a couple of weeks ago to buy my daughter a Yorkie that I had been eyeballing for a couple of days now. Kendall was extremely helpful & knowledgeable when it came down to my questions and concerns also with what items I would be needing for my new family member. She was so patient with me & honestly I can't thank her enough. With me being a new mom you know I had lots and lots of questions to ask!!! Thank you so much for all your help Kendall my baby girl & I are extremely happy with Bella & couldn't thank you enough for it! Kudos Kendall!
This place is really upsetting. They definitely sell puppies from puppy mills. One day I came home and my husband had bought a cocker spaniel puppy from the store for $600. Whatever, his choice. While the dog is a sweet perfect angel, he definitely isn't full cocker spaniel. In conclusion: puppy mills, false advertising, terrible conditions.
