Super knowledgeable, Uber friendly owner. Good prices. Took the time to explain features and benefits to my wife who is a beginner rider. Everything you could want in a neighborhood bicycle store. Great alternative to the big box stores. I won't go anyplace else.
Great shop! Eric is knowledgeable, and unlike other shops I've dealt with in the past, doesn't talk down to you or make you feel uncomfortable for asking "simple questions." His $59 tune up made my bike like it was brand new! I'll use him from now on for tune ups and future bike purchases.
Saw a listing on Craigslist for a bike they had posted. Called and asked if the bike was still available, which it was. Drove 1 hour and 45 min, walked in and saw the bike. Offered to give Erick $800 for the bike (which was his asking price) and he mentioned he had to re offer the bike to someone else at $800 since that individual offered him $700 initially some time back . I was beyond confused at this point, and could not believe what was happening. So, Erick calls the individual, and the proceeds to tell that us he would no longer sell the bike to us because the individual who inquired about the bike first, matched my $800. I was extremely disappointed that I had to drive a total of a tad over 3 hours just to comeback empty handed. I would have understood if the bike sold while on the way there and got a call about it, but that was not that case. Don't get wrong, people there are nice, but their business practices could use some adjustment. They had my number, and knew I was coming from ways out before I saw the bike, just to be turned down in such a weird way. Hopefully this is an isolated incident for them because I mentioned before, they seemed really nice.
The owner Eric really knows his stuff. Very helpful, friendly and did an excellent job on my annual tune up and adjustments.
No drop group rides are great for all level of riders. Including riders like me who aren't used to these hills.
Believe what others say: This is a great neighborhood bike shop! They have modest prices on tune ups with great workmanship. They tuned my Kona street bike right. I like the used bike consignment they offer as well as a decent stock of new rides. Check them out!
