Great shop, very friendly people, with a lot of patience to explain the details about the products. They have also done a very honest free estimate on the repairs needed on my bike and even saying what was optional and what was more required in a very opened and honest way. I do recommend the place to everybody!
Fast, professional, friendly, and very reasonable pricing for the work and service on our double joyrider bike. Turnaround time from time I called and they picked up and delivered the repaired bike was just 2 days which was amazing! Bike now works perfectly. Couldn't find a better bike repair.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this locally owned business. Not only are they knowledgeable, they are kind and thoughtful. Their hearts are in their work. I needed a little “tune-up” on my bike and the owner himself, Mr Buck, went out of his way to be sure I was as safe as I could be. There is a reason they have been in business for more than 30 years!!!
I love Buck's Bikes and have been buying/servicing my bikes with them since the very early 90s and now my kids bikes as well. Bike stores in Austin are a dime a dozen these days and most that you Google have closed their doors within the first year or two. They have to be doing something right!! For those who say this place doesn't have a bike feel to it, maybe you are referencing one of the bike stores that couldn't keep their doors open. Bucks has great service, a family business feel and they can work on your bike while you wait most of the time. They also sell children's bikes, BMX, mountain bikes and cruisers for those older HEAVIER people mentioned. From high end to base model bikes they have you covered. If you talk to these people like a human being they will extend you the same courtesy and then some. Those talking about the way sales people look and base their knowledge of bikes on that are ridiculous. I recommend this place 100% for all walks of bikers.
I bought my Raleigh Bike online from direct website and chose delivery option to Bucks Bike since it was near to my home. The bike arrived Bucks by day after morning, they followed up and informed me that they are currently assembling the bike and will be ready for delivery by afternoon. Sharp at 3 PM I got a call stating my bike is assembled and ready for delivery. The bike was assembled and tuned immaculately and also met the owner Buck. He was such a great person and answered all my querys and also helped me with choosing a new helmet. 30 years in the industry selling bikes , this man knew what he was speaking. Bucks also provides 1 year maintenance free if you buy directly from them, my next bike for my wife will be directly from Bucks for the great customer experience and end to end ownership they carry, and totally going to be my favorite shop for bike related stuff! Kudos to the entire team @Bucks
