Beware of the up-sale. I went in today for a state inspection. First the attendant wanted me to get a car wash. I declined. During the inspection, the attendant told me that my windshield wipers needed to be replaced (they didn't). I decline to purchase the new blades. He then told me that if I did not replace my windshield wiper blades, he would "fail" my inspection. What a way to go Kwik Kar. You lost a customer over some $20 windshield wiper blades. It's going to be nice "not" doing business with you. And by the way.... the management informed me that the decision to "fail" an inspection is up to the discretion of the inspector. Therefore, it appears that they can fail your inspection for a reason or for no reason at all. Hey, Kwik Kar.... nice scam if you can keep it going.

Came in to get the car washed and cleaned on both the inside and outside. The staff was super helpful and friendly when I was asking questions about what their different washes included. The sign that gives you the information is kind of hidden up and inside the vehicle bay, so that's not very helpful during a time that they are busy if there is a vehicle ahead of you in line. But they had me in and out faster than I expected and provided a complimentary air freshener for the car as well.

Would give them no stars if that was an option! Took my car in for inspection and decided to get a car wash. Upon completion of wash I felt I needed to check to see if they had actually vacuumed. I opened the trunk and sure enough not vacuumed. They did take it back to address after I had to point it out. Upon receiving my car back I noticed the cloth of my interior doors was pulled up on both sides. This is not how I brought the car to them. First manager out of the gate basically told me that I had done it. Second manager came out who also was adamant they would have not done it. Stated that they don't wipe down the doors. I had sat out at the front watching the employees wipe down many doors of cars being detailed. As they should if you are getting your car washed and detailed. 2nd supervisor did offer to take the plastic portion of door off to tuck cloth back, but that was after a long dialogue of him still claiming they would have not done the damage. In the end I declined because I did not trust them after how the situation was handled initial, especially with the 1st manager they sent out. I was not looking for any kind of compensation just that they address the matter appropriately. Extremely poor customer service!! Now it makes me wonder did I really need new wiper blades, OR was this their way of making more money. They stated car would need new wiper blades to pass inspection. Reading other reviews it seems they look for ways to get more $$$ out of the customer. I didn't question the wiper blades as I needed the inspection to get my registration renewed. I HIGHLY don't recommend anyone taking their vehicle to this car wash, if you do make sure to take pictures of your car before handing it over, so that you have proof before they accuse you and not take accountability. Steer clear of this location, you will be better off.

Started at this location with a free car wash, now I go here for any maintenance I need for my car. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly truthful and straightforward. I've never had a shop I trusted more. Even though I'm moving to downtown Austin, I still plan on doing the majority of my auto work here. They have earned my loyalty.

Had the best customer service here, everyone was so nice and polite. My car was inspected so quickly, the waiting area was so neat and clean. Nobody tried to upsale me on anything which I truly appreciate. I will go out of my way to come here. Thank you for such great service.

Regarding Kwik Kar's claim that.... "On the inspection concern, wiper blades that sufficiently clean the windshield are required per the State as part of the safety portion in the inspection. If the wiper blades do not meet this requirement per the inspector, we are required to fail the inspection." [Whether the blades need to be replaced is up to the discretion of the inspector." If the inspector is selling blades, it is in his vested interest to "fail" your inspection if you do not buy his blades]. "We offer as a convenience wiper blades for purchase at our locations, but it is always an option for you as a customer to buy them from us or purchase them elsewhere and come back for the free re-inspection."

Don't buy it. When a company offers anything "as a convenience," having to do with your state inspection, it comes with an "arm twist." You will purchase what we tell you to purchase, or we will "fail" your inspection. If that sounds like a scam, that's because it is. And by the way.... the blades were not defective. I took them to Auto Zone and they confirmed it. I bought new blades from Auto Zone because I had no choice. Kwik Kar charged me for the "failed" inspection. My choices were: (1) by new blades from them; (2) by new blades from Auto Zone; (3) take my car to another company for a new inspection. Since there was no way I was going to allow Kwik Kar to extort any money out of me, and since I had to have a clean inspection in order to register my car, my best option was to buy blades from Auto Zone and write Kwik Kar off as a dishonest company.
