On another note, while I'm not certain what the going rate for the type of work my son needed is, I was amazed at the low cost of the visit today, especially with all that was required.
Wonderful experience for both my 9yo and my 3yo!! Very passionate people, very nice establishment and over all just a wonderful dentist office. The Dr was amazing with both of my children, he's very kind, works well with children and pays attention to every need. I am very please!!
I have taken both of my kids here and they love it! They are such sweet people and helped my 6 year old relax and helped encourage the importance of brushing and flossing their teeth. I even felt comfortable and that is hard to find.

I truly cannot thank Dr. Romero and her staff enough. At 3:00 p.m. on a Friday my son fell at his school and injured his teeth quite severely. As Dell Children's even stated when we called, the worse times for a dental emergency is Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays, as most dental offices are closed. Thankfully a friend searched and found Austin Children's Dentistry was still open. We called and they got us in immediately. I wish I had got Dr. Romero's assistant's name that worked with us because she was exceptional. Both Dr. Romero and her assistant along with others stayed over an hour after the office closed to complete the work my son needed. Never once did I feel that they were trying to rush or were even bothered to be staying so late.
Dr. Chang Ryu and Carmen were absolutely awesome with my daughter today. They were kind and patient and I didn't feel they were trying to sell me a Time Share like another place we had gone to. The office filed my insurance and I only had to pay a little out of pocket. Really, I can not express how great this staff is when working with children. You don't have to wait long at all and they have a cool place for kids to play in the office area. Do not go anywhere else. I have done that for you (3 other places) and let me tell you, this is the ONLY place I will take my children to from now on!!!
