Yesterday I took my 3 year old girl (adopted from Korea, English is very very limited). Dr Mendoza looked at her, said everything was good except a deep groove in the last moeller that could potentially turn into a cavity. We went today to fix it. We asked to not use laughing gas if possible because we don't know her medical history. We were asked to leave the room, no problem there, but a few minutes after Dr starts, my husband says she is getting a shot. I was NOT HAPPY. She got three shots to fix a moeller that did not have a cavity, or maybe she did, but that's not what Dr said the day before. Our little lady was a trooper. She cried once when they used the drier on her tooth. After the procedure Lady asked for a token to get a bouncy ball. O asked one assistant and she said no, they are for kids that get cleanings. I asked a second assistant and I was told the same. I asked the secretary and guess what. My Lady who is three, had three shots and did better than an adult could not get a damn bouncy ball. I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE WITH ALL MY 4 KIDS FOR MORE THAN 5 YEARS!!!!!! keep the damn ball. You lost 4 loyal patients. Dr Mendoza might be nice, but I wish they would have told me about the shots before hand. No, they didn't, and if I get a response from the office saying otherwise, they are lying. I would have gladly done laughing gas if I knew my little Lady was going to get shots to fix a deep groove on a tooth. Guys at the front are nice, but may the assistants choke on their 0.25 cent bouncy ball.
I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Mendoza and kids first for many years now. She is an amazing doctor and truly cares about her patients. I can't say enough good things about her & her team. I trust Dr. Mendoza's opinion about the care needed for my daughter 100%.
My children had an excellent vist. The office was so nice, clean & very welcoming. Tonya was so great with my girls! Dr. Mendoza was so nice & explained everything in detail. The kids can't wait to go back for their next vist.
I know she recommends & does only what is the best for my child. Dr. Mendoza & her team always take great care to explain everything in great detail so we are always well informed. I send all of my friends & family her way because I know they will be taken well care of!
