This was my first visit here. The food was great, the server explained how the servings worked, which was nice. It was clean inside and the restrooms were very clean too. Awesome place, great food, and ill be bringing more people with me next time. Thanks for an awesome quick lunch.
Brisket has no flavor, Mac n' cheese is so thick and the green bean casserole tastes like it came out of a can.... the staff are friendly though.. not a big fan of the prices for the amount and quality of the food either.
Best BBQ in Austin. I've been eating here since I was a baby, now 30 years later and still number 1 in my opinion. I even used them as the caterer for our wedding, and everyone raved about it!
I was craving a smoked chicken sandwich today, so i ordered for takeout at Pokejos Round Rock - i remember buying these at least twice a week for lunch. When I got back to work and opened the wrapping, i was highly disappointed to find that the texas toast was flat and sweaty the tomato and lettuce was almost non-existent and the chicken was all scraps, grizzle and bones. I was so tempted to return it, but i couldn't take time to circle back, so i through it away instead. Next time, I'll view the product before taking it out. i couldn't post without selecting at least one star, but IMO, NO STARS!!!
