Bought a new car radio on a Monday and needed it installed. I’d been going back and forth with my hometown Besy Buy for weeks and gave up. The manager at Round Rock said they don’t usually have installs done on Mondays and everything was booked for the rest of the week but they had a new employee coming in that did installs and said they would check with him before they scheduled us somewhere else for Tuesday. The employee, Jamey, came in and said he could do it! An hour later he was done! Install was done wonderfully and I’m very pleased! This store showed what the definition of true customer service means.
Best Buy sent out an email to their customers which read that they would be releasing the SNES at 7am. It's now pushing 8am. There's a line of people in the pouring rain. Not one employee has shown up! I guess Best Buy doesn't bother to communicate to their stores what they advertise to customers. This is the last time I go to Best But for a release. Next time I'll go to Walmart, who released theirs on time, at MIDNIGHT no less! I thought best buy had better quality products, but if they can't even communicate effectively, what does that say about how they do business?
I made an appointent to have the screen replaced on my Galaxy S7 Edge phone while I waited. Last Friday I received an email saying they were backed up and I would not be able to wait for my phone. I rescheduled for today.
They advertise being able to wait for your phone to be repaired. This is a blatant lie. The phones are repaired first come, first served.
I checked my email just before I left to ensure the same thing did nit happen today. I drove from Central Austin to the Round Rock Best Buy. When I arrived and gave my name and appointment time, I was told that it was only an appointment to complete the paperwork. The phone would not be repaired until tomorrow.
The employees are all great help. They're pretty knowledgeable and able to supplement your information to suggest the right products or software.
Mike at the Round Rock store is worth his weight in gold. He explained to me how the Amazon Echo worked and what all I could do with it. I purchased it, and everyone in the family is having a great time with it. I have come back to the Round Rock store a couple of times with questions and Mike is always willing to go the extra mile. Anytime I have a question he always points me in the right direction to get the right product for my needs. Great customer service Mike. Keep up the good work!
I have never had a good expetience with the Geek Squad. This shows that I should have followed my instincts and chose another business.
