This is a flat out criminal organization who cares nothing at all for patients and has all sights set on getting rich quick.
Initially they said they would accept my insurance suddenly changed their mind and billed me a random number they just made up. When I asked for a breakdown of fees, they included $330 entitled general fees. When I questioned that charge they said it was a facility fee (that means walking through the door). I'm not kidding here folks.
I love the doctors and nurses at this hospital! Every time I had to go for a prenatal visit I was always treated with care. The appointments were easy to schedule and I never had to wait long to see my doctor. Dr Amy Chapman is an amazing OBGYN. She would answer questions at each visit, and respond quickly to MyChart questions. The delivery of my daughter was also at this hospital. The labor and delivery unit is small, but the delivery rooms are spacious. The cafeteria food options were not the best, luckily I only had to spend one night in recovery.
The same blood work that I have been getting the past seven years went from $30 from 2010-early 2017 to over $1400 in September.
I found the staff to be very nice. I've been admitted several times over many years. Their billing department has issues, but NOT because of the friendly representatives, their problems I believe are their billing practices and policies.

I went in , was told i was having a miscarriage and send me home. Didn't tell what was to come, the baby passed 8 HOURS after leaving. They never told me what was to come or the pain i would feel. 6 thousand dollars later. It was a pointless appointment.
A year later, as is typical with this hospital, I'm still trying to resolve billing issues. Wrong spelling of my name, Date of Birth, SSN, or just entered wrong insurance. Still can't get the bills resolved. I call the insurance company and the say bills weren't even submitted to them!! However, Nurses and doctors were excellent. Doesn't really make up for the incompetence in the office.
