Finding a business to properly identification engrave a 1911 slide and/or frame turns out to be more difficult than one would imagine. Typically, the engraving is too shallow (then covered completely by coating), in the wrong font, or in the wrong place. I met Joseph at a gun show a couple of years ago and discussed this c him....he assured me that his people could deliver exactly what I was after and guess what? They absolutely did. Thus far I've used their services three times; on the last two, Cassie listened carefully, sent me proofs before doing the job(s), and did it to perfection. The first job they did for me was very tricky, in that it involved a Drake national match numbered slide that suffered from light strikes on the numbers when it was made; they filled it in expertly and then re-engraved it....again, to perfection. These folks know what they're doing, they deliver as promised, and the prices are very fair to boot. Long drive from Salado, but I wouldn't go any other place. Even if it was next door. This is the place to get it done right the first time.
