We have stayed at this Best Western property in Round Rock, Texas, three times in the last three years. It is convenient to our son's home and reasonably priced, and allows small pets at a very reasonable upcharge. The rooms are large and clean, and the beds are above average in quality and comfort. The complimentary breakfast is a good one, and offers scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereals, juices, fruit, coffee, muffins and toast. The parking is good and the staff is friendly and personable, and the motel is convenient to shopping, restaurants, gas and downtown Austin. It's an excellent value, and we will continue to be regular guests at this Best Western motel.
Stayed one night on business. Great location. Great staff. Good rate. Did not like room comfort. Room felt very humid and terribly damp. Towels and tissue felt damp. A/C needs some type of service.
We sort of plan our stays at hotels that are pet friendly, $10 a night, that's hard to beat. They even put us in one of the South rooms where the grass is which is nice on our dog's feet in this 100 degree weather. That's very thoughtful of them to do that fit us. It was just my wife and I so the room was a good size but, if we had our kids with us it would have been too small.
BW was clean and nicely decorated. Mattress was comfortable. Room doors exit to outside. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs, link sausage, bacon, packaged oatmeal with various toppings, yogurt, cold cereals, waffles, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, and beverages. Counter hostess needs a cart to keep up with refilling buffet counter as kitchen is not in close proximity to counter. Coffee and tea available in lobby. Parking spots a bit narrow and limited but extra spaces on North side of hotel.
The bed was very comfortable. Everything in the bathroom was clean. The floor was clean in our room, we take our shoes off at the door. Our only complaint would be the pillows. They were flat and could probably be replaced.
I have stayed here many times over the past few years. Staff on the desk has always made me feel welcome. Good value.
Good internet speed. Cable TV. It was the standard breakfast, same menu every morning, nothing special.
