Update: management reached out to me about my experience, and they handled the situation with impressive tact. We are happy with the outcome and will be back again.
Great hotel for the price! Everything was really clean and looking new and the breakfast on Saturday morning was cooked and made fresh right there! 5 Stars to the all the staff as well.
Ok, so the rooms were nice. And the staff at the restaurant was fantastic. But the housekeeping staff was unfriendly, and fridge didn't work. The biggest problem was that they cancelled our reservation because we were late, even though I booked directly with them and requested that a note be added that we would be very late. Then they put a hold on TWO DIFFERENT CARDS. The total that was held was more than we owed for the entire stay. The lady at the front desk insisted that was normal and it was a fee for incidentals. It wasn't and I got with my bank and the hotel you have one hold taken off. The hotel staff didn't even know the procedure to correct it, the bank had to explain that they couldn't conduct a banking transaction via email. And the charge on my card after checkout is still higher than what our rate was supposed to be by at least $40. So we'll be calling Hilton about it.
Nice staff and accommodated my room requests. Fairly clean, and room was fairly current as well. Hotel was under construction for remodeling but that didn't impact our stay at all. Pillows and bed could be better which is why I'm only giving 4 stars. Location is good with easy access around Round Rock and Austin is only a short drive away for downtown visits.
I thought this was a very nice place. Great rooms. Friendly staff. Pillows and blankets are good, bed not so much. It wasn't uncomfortable by any means though. Maybe it's just been to long since I slept on a spring mattress. And the room was nice and cold when I walked in. You know how usually the rooms are hot when you first get there? This room was very cool temperature wise so I didn't need to wait for it to cool down. Shower could use more pressure but other than that the bathrooms are nice. Comfortable couch in the rooms, with ottoman. Spacious desk. And the be all end all curtains to cover the window. I mean serious curtains. No free breakfast though. $9.99 for breakfast buffet. Wide variety of you usual breakfast and whether you're a bacon and eggs person or yogurt and cereal person. Make your own waffles. I'll definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Austin.
Front desk was really nice and polite. Rooms look great. Love the decor. Everything was clean. Its been a lot of rain so I saw a tiny spider in the room. Electrical looked like it was hanging from the a/c unit. Breakfast is always made to order and delicious. I would stay there again Ann's recommend to a friend.
