Steven was an acquaintance of mine before I purchased a truck from him for about $4500.
Asked for maintenance records, about the tires and timing belt on a certain vehicle. I have the texts that show they said they had all maintenance records. When I came in from Houston to test drive the vehicle, the tires were worn almost bald on the inside, the maintenance records were not available and when they told me they would accept a certain amount, they didn't honor it when I got to the dealership.
Douglas Auto Sales had the car I wanted at the perfect price! Steven was friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and even worked with my commute from San Antonio. You can tell this guy cares about his business! I hope to do business with him again someday.
Excellent service and very helpfull i have purchased 10 vehicles for employees and personally thru Steven at Douglas Auto Sales and he has always gone above and beyond expectations. Hard to find an honest car salesman and i wont be going anywhere else

Absolutely the worst dealership I've ever been to. Asked very specific questions and was flat out lied to from an employee.
Basically nothing they said could be verified. They even tried to show me a carfax on the web, and I asked for a printed copy. They said sure, and just never went and got one.
This was about 3 months ago now. He sold me a lemon. In the first 3 weeks I had to replace the battery and the alternator. I have just come to find out the truck I recently purchased from him now has 2 blown head gaskets. He will make promises to you that he will sell you a good working vehicle. He promised me he was going to fix the cosmetic damage to it before I made the purchase. I've been in almost constant touch with him about the issues I've had with the truck. He says he will help but he won't help. My advice to anyone purchasing a vehicle; find a dealership who will want you as a returning customer, not someone who takes the money and runs. My mistake was to trust him and now l have no transportation. Very poor business practices.
